After earning my bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering in China, I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in biomedical engineering. Even though my previous experiences seem to be far away from neuroscience, I always try to get back to what really excites me: the human brain. Prof. Til Ole Bergmann’s lab gives me a valuable opportunity to explore the world of neuroscience using state-of-the-art brain stimulation techniques and methods. Currently, I am focused on studying the mechanism of memory consolidation during human sleep, specifically spindles in NREM sleep using real-time EEG-triggered TMS. I hope that with my engineering background, I can understand and solve the problems from different angles.
