I am a Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where I also completed my Bachelor’s degree.
My interests lie in neuroimaging and the neural mechanisms underlying psychological processes. During my Bachelor studies, I worked as a research assistant (HiWi) at the Neuroimaging Centre (NIC), contributing to research on resilience mechanisms.
At Prof. Til Ole Bergmann’s lab, I will now investigate how real-time EEG-triggered TMS affects motor memory consolidation. Specifically, when applied to the motor cortex during the occurrence of sleep spindles. For me this research is a valuable opportunity to deepen my understanding of interactions between brain activity and behaviour.
