With a background in Biomedical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Medical Technology and Healthcare Business (M.Sc), my research lies in AI/ML application in medical imaging and functional neuromodulation.
In TOBergmann Lab, I will work on the CITRUS project, providing offline proof of neural target engagement in sgACC region through TUS within the MR environment. The main aim of this project is to establish a novel treatment for neurological and psychiatric disorders through non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, particularly using focused ultrasound stimulation (FUS) for neuromodulation.
