Seeing the brain as the center of life and existence is my approach to investigating neural mechanisms underlying perception, thought, and behavior. I am a medical student at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, driven by a long-standing fascination with the neural basis of consciousness and the disorders that affect it.
This passion led me to the Neuroimaging Center, where I am currently pursuing my medical doctoral thesis in the lab of Prof. Dr. Til Ole Bergmann. My work focuses on developing personalized transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) protocols guided by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), with the aim of improving treatment approaches for psychiatric disorders such as major depressive disorder (MDD).
